Hi everyone,
Curtis and I love to go out for tapas or even enjoy it at home with a glass of rosé. There is something about eating delicious small bites of food while enjoying a chat with strangers. In Spain, tapas is a snack before dinner and is a social ritual enjoyed by many. The main reason I like it too is that I get to sample a lot of food and not feel as guilty! I’m notorious for ordering a couple of appetizers and then a main dish, it drives Curtis nuts. Tapas is my compromise with him and we both have fun eating a variety of dishes.
I want to share a handful of traditional, popular tapas dishes.
1. Croquetas de Pollo
2. Chorizo filled dates wrapped in bacon (Food & Wine)
3. Patatas Bravas
4. Fried Padron Peppers
5. Tortilla Española
There is definitely something magical abut small bites, and great company surrounding. We definitely try to make a wonderful environment for all of our guests at our Wine Bar in San Jose. These dishes look amazing.
