Hi everyone,
I have not met a person who doesn’t love a bowl of gnocchi. Those pillowy soft delicious objects in a sauce, made out of either potatoes, ricotta, flour, semolina or eggs. I personally love the classic potato ones or ricotta in a brown butter sage sauce. My nonna makes some really superb gnocchi in a meat sauce. Some types are time consuming, others are quick and easy and all have the same end result. A delicious bowl of gnocchi waiting to be consumed by us, savouring each and every bite.
1. Potato Gnocchi (Bon Appetit)
2. Gnocchi in a tomato broth (Smitten Kitchen)
3. Semolina gnocchi with pork ragu (The Kitchn)
4. Gnocchi with brown butter and sage (Saveur)
Enjoy! I know what I will be making this weekend.
I’ve only had gnocchi once and it was when a friend made it by hand. Ever since then, I consider making gnocchi super intimidating. I suppose she set the bar kinda high.

LOL it is super rewarding in the end
