What's Cookin' – Christmas Baked Goods

tbfast-3

Hi everyone,

Today let’s talk about Christmas baked goods. It’s a love/hate relationship for me with them, I love to eat them but my waistline hates me for it when I do. There is furthermore the joy I get from baking them and having other people enjoy eating them. Below are recipes I want to try out this year and add to my yearly rotation (some maybe twice a year).

1. Chocolate peppermint icebox yule log cake (Joy the Baker)

2. Peanut butter cups (The Comfort of Baking)

3. Chocolate babka challah bread (Bon Appetit)

4. Christmas trifle (Donna Hay)

5. Hazelnut sandwich cookies (Martha Stewart)

6. Zeppole (Epicurious)

7. Sugar-dusted vanilla ricotta filled fritters (Food & Wine)

8. Easy peppermint fudge (Pioneer Woman)

9. English Toffee (Tutti Dolci)

10. Nutella stuffed red velvet cookies (Broma Bakery)

What do you bake for the holidays? Do you enjoy it or is it a chore?
