Hi everyone,
We had a great weekend; the weather in Vancouver was (and still is) amazing, we ate an abundance of great food and spent time with friends and family.
Friday night I went shopping with my friend Mia at Pacific Centre. We checked out the new stores and finished off with dinner at The Yew Seafood and Bar. They opened up a Ted Baker, All Saints and Kate Spade among others in the new section of the mall. I loved the décor in Ted Baker, it was very whimsical and a breath of fresh air in the array of stores.
Saturday I went out with my mom furniture shopping. I was looking for a new couch, dining table and chairs and a coffee table. We ended up being very successful and I cannot wait for the new pieces to arrive! If you are looking for great apartment sized furniture, check out OMG It’s Small in North Vancouver.
Curtis and I met up with my sister and her boyfriend for dinner at Maenam that evening. We enjoyed a delicious Thai meal and great cocktails. I highly recommend going here with a group and sharing a few dishes.
Sunday was Father’s Day and the whole family went to Harbour Green Park in Coal Harbour for a picnic. We packed a feast to say the least, threw a baseball around and played Frisbee for a couple of hours. What a nice day and the people watching down there was amazing! Afterwards we hung out at my parent’s house on their patio and ate pasta for dinner. I would say I’m still full today!
How was your weekend? Did you get outside to enjoy the first day of Summer?
*Apologies for the photo quality, I still need to get in the habit of bringing my DSLR along!
