Hi everyone,
It was a quiet weekend for Curtis and I, we started off on Friday by having dinner at our place with my sister. Then the three of us checked out the new Flying Pig in the Olympic Village. Great space and delicious food as always!
Afterwards we walked down the street to the new Steel Toad Brewpub and Hall, we didnβt realize how big of a space that is! Really nice dΓ©cor and they had live music that night. Can’t say anything about the food, we only had drinks at that point.
Saturday I started off at my regular hair appointment, just a cut and colour, nothing too exciting. Will probably go a bit lighter come spring time. Curtis and I then went downtown and walked around with Piper for a bit. We stopped in at Joe Fresh and picked up a few basics, canβt go wrong with $12 t-shirts or athletic tops. Went for a drive through Stanley Park and over to West Vancouver. Before heading back, I wanted to run into Osaka Supermarket at Park Royal. What a fun place! Need noodles? They have a whole aisle for that! Need Soy sauce or fish sauce? Have an aisle for that! Dumplings? Check. Buns? Check. I cannot explain how amazing it is! I love exploring food stores and finding new items to try.

When we got home I made chicken pot pies out of my leftovers from the night before, yummy! The rest of the night was all about The Wire, we are now on season 5, I have no idea what we will do afterwards haha.
Sunday was all about laundry, homework and more of The Wire. We then had dinner at my momβs with my grandparents. She made a delicious bouillabaisse along with a yummy zucchini goat cheese tart and salad.
Today, Iβm feeling really tired still, havenβt got much sleep the past few days and Tuesday is day number 3 without 8 hours of sleep. I would say 5 hours average a night and for me that is too little. Letβs hope this week goes by quickly.
Have a great one!
