Weekend Recap

Hi everyone,

Back to the grind today after a great long weekend for Thanksgiving. I’m stuffed, and will be detoxing this week. Poultry is the last thing I want to see or eat for a few days. Our weekend started with Pizza at Pizzeria Bufala (See my review here) on Friday with my sister and ended the night with a visit to Target.

Saturday was an errand and cleaning day, with some BBC Sherlock Holmes binge watching. That night we went over to some new friends apartment and met some other great people! I love those experiences and can’t wait to see them again.

Sunday was Thanksgiving at my parents and I spent my day making pie. I made a Chai Spiced Apple Pie from A Year of Pies. Great book, it is filled with sweet and savoury pies for all the seasons. This recipe was delicious and the leftovers went fast!

Monday was a lazy day too, we had dinner at Curtis’s dads and thankfully he made ribs because I was still stuffed from turkey.

What did you do for the weekend? Did you celebrate or go away?
