We’re Having a Baby… Again!

You read that right, we are expecting baby number 2 this April! Everyone is pretty excited over here, especially Rowan! She’s constantly asking about the baby, reading to it, planning where it’s going to sleep in her room, does it have coats, you know all the normal questions toddlers ask.

I’m in my second trimester and wow, that first one was over 2 months of nausea. Pretty glad I’m now over it and feeling more energized to get back to work. It’s still a hit or miss when I drink coffee, some days I’m fine, and some days I feel queasy afterward. All I want is a festive peppermint latte, too much to ask?

I took a few months to announce it, just more chill about it this time around, and finally shared a cute reel on Instagram. We also planned a babymoon recently, off to Hawaii this time! It’s our first time on the islands, well I went as a small kid, but that doesn’t count.

Time for some relaxation and I love that there are a lot of activities and dining to break up our days. If anyone has any suggestions for Oahu, please share them! We debated about Maui but it’s pretty expensive to stay during January, so a return trip one day with Rowan and the sequel.

And it will be our first trip away without Rowan, we are well overdue to spend some time alone for more than a day. This pregnancy has been flying by I feel, therefore this trip away will be nice to just to stop and appreciate it.
