The most important thing to check off your wedding checklist is ordering your invitations. It’s not a wedding with no guests right? I partnered up with Minted to order our wedding invitations. It was such an easy process I would do it again for any occasion. They make such an overwhelming task so simple.
Weighing the look of watercolor vs. letterpress, or tradition vs. technology… it can make any bride’s head swim. So, once again we turned to Minted to help us come up with some ideas.
We chose the Tropical Love suite, it gives off a little mid-century vibe and fits with Palm Springs. Curtis and I both wanted a simple, fun yet elegant look. These were perfect!
Minted has so many options to choose from and then provides little details to add on. They also provide custom invitations by their designers, so you can make a custom invitation using their site.
Ours have a real gold foil press on them, I love that little extra flair!
Each invitation suite have these options:
Some of the cool add-ons are:
It’s really a no brainer, for me it was all about saving time and money while being able to pick an amazing design. The design process was easy then you upload a spreadsheet of your wedding guest addresses and it does the rest. You get a print proof from Minted and once that is ok’d (by you) you are done! You can either have them delivered to your home or the invites delivered via Minted (US only).
Our feedback so far from our invitees is so positive. Everyone has loved our wedding invitations and were so excited to open them up. That makes me really happy! It’s like a good first impression of what’s to come.
What I loved about the process was that even though, yes, you’re buying invitations that anyone else could also be buying, every aspect is customized so well that it feels like you. And the more you take advantage of design help and custom options, the more you come away with an invitation that’s truly unique.
Once you are done with your invitations, you can now make a wedding website with Minted. Creating and updating your wedding website is really simple too. Add in some travel details, the main events, your gift registry and more information about the wedding party to start.
So that’s it! We are both so happy with how they turned out! I would recommend them to anyone I know, it really saves you from stress and most importantly $. Hiring a calligrapher and stationer is so expensive! Definitely not in our budget and Minted saved us.
