Where I Get My Makeup Favourites

OK, let’s get on with what I usually keep in my makeup bag that I pop into my work tote. I ALWAYS have a concealer on hand for touchups, a great nude lip (or two), an everyday bronzer, powder for those shiny days, a bright lip (for an evening look), DEFINITELY lip gloss and always a mirror! You can’t do any touchups without one, or at least I can’t. I would totally mess up, LOL!

These are always handy on those long work days where I go from client meetings to blog events without stopping in at home. And when I run out of anything, I can just pop online and reorder, where I can see my previous purchases and what shades I chose. Nothing is worse than getting home and realizing you purchased the wrong shade of foundation. The absolute worst, right?
Plus, keeping these beauty products in a small bag makes my life easier when I want to do any touchups in a hurry at home too. Instead of rifling through my makeup collection, I just grab my go-to beauty products instead. I make sure to change up my lipsticks and sometimes add a rollerball of my favourite scent to go with the season we’re in.

I’ve come to the realization that I now only really tweak my “look” when the weather gets warm – bit of bronzer, a hot pink lipstick and voluminous mascara – and the rest of the time, I’m just trying to make myself look more alive.
