This month’s beauty buys feature Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir, Pureology’s Smooth Perfection Serum and Joyride’s Scrub. I really loved all three products after using them for a while. I also wanted to share a variety of products for face, hair and body this month. January’s monthly beauty buys featured all facial products, which I all still love!
And I wanted to share a local product made in Vancouver from my favourite nail salon Joyride! They sell natural, organic body products in store and online.

This elixir smooths away fine lines, tightens pores and gives the complexion a real boost of radiance. I like to spray it on my face before my moisturizer or just during the day for a little refreshment. Bonus is that it also sets your makeup and the scent is nice. It’s small enough to throw in your purse and bring along with you to work or travel.
* Just remember to keep those eyes closed while misting and a few seconds afterwards! I won’t make that mistake again haha.

My hair stylist Jessica (hi Jess!) recommended this for my frizzy hair. Living in Vancouver does not do wonders for my hair and I the frizz battle daily. It’s for fine to normal, colour treated hair, lightweight and had heat protection in it too. I love it, I am able to use this and my argan hair oil too. I also have the gel in the line for those really tough days!

This scrub is made of sugar and sea salt. It leaves my skin feeling super smooth. I don’t use it everyday, but a couple times a week before a shower or after a bath. You can use it on your face and feet, but I use other products for those. For the price point, it’s a big jar and lasts awhile.
This is awesome, thanks for sharing! I love discovering locally made products. One of these days, I plan to try to make a few of my own.
ooo i’d love to know when you do!
