I’m trying this new series Monthly Beauty Buys on skincare and beauty products that I am currently using or just have tried. I love to share products that work for me and become staples in my routine.
The three this month are ones that are geared to keeping my skin moisturized this winter. With the weather becoming colder (flurries this week!) here in Vancouver, I can feel my skin getting dry. I find myself using hand lotion a few times a day, a moisturizing face mask a couple times a week and getting Curtis to apply lotion to my back nightly.
What products do you use in the winter? Anything that is tried and trued for you?
Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
This lotion is truly amazing. Airline attendants use this lotion to keep their skin hydrated while flying. Clinique is a great line for sensitive skin and this lotion stays true to that. I feel safe applying this without worrying about breaking out. It also feels really nice on my skin and isn’t greasy or overly heavy on my face. I literally feel my skin is drinking it in and in the end I have baby soft skin.
Fable Naturals Nourishing Olive & Rosehip Facial Oil
I actually wrote a review on Fable Naturals in September. I love their brand and use a few of their products. This oil also helps my spots on my face and gives me a nice glow.
Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Body Butters
The scents are lovely and I feel that my skin is protected from the harsh winter weather. It just feels really, really nice on my skin. It is a little pricey but totally worth it and lasts all day. I really enjoy applying this after a nice bath, trapping in that moisture.
