Hello everyone! If you read or follow my Instagram, you would know we were just on our honeymoon in NYC last week! Curtis and I both were in awe when we arrived. The hustle, the bustle, everything is open late, something is always going on and the list goes on…
We were met with an array of weather, some days raining, some days sunny, some days in between. But we walked everywhere, took the subway and just relaxed. It was a whirlwind of a week and I’ll be posting a recap of it plus a vlog in the next week or so. I still have to post our wedding!!! OMG I have no idea why it’s taken me forever to do so, but I’ve have to break up that week into three posts. Hopefully I’ll finish it up and start posting next week.
I’m touching base today because I do have posts scheduled, I was going to post when we were away and well it was my freakin’ honeymoon. So no I couldn’t be bothered, I was having too much fun, detoxing from the blog and social media. I posted once all week on Instagram (still did stories, mostly for my family and friends) and scanned my email for important ones. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend taking a week off and living life. I feel people will understand, we are now in the age of tech and I constantly see posts or articles about stepping back from social media once in a while. I wholeheartedly AGREE.
With that said, I feel it’s going to be a busy few months coming up! Excited to see what happens. Stay tuned for regular posting here again! I have a whack load of beauty and travel posts coming up!
Anyways…
With the holiday season upon us, I am creating fun content for it. But I want to know what you are hoping to see on here! Let me know in the comments! I have some DIY gifts, beauty tutorials, fashion trends, recipes, cocktails and more! But if there I something particular or another topic you want me to toss in there, let me know!
And don’t forget to follow me on Instagram. There will be a few giveaways in the next couple of months! I don’t want to you to miss out on those.
Congratulations on getting married and the awesome honeymoon. I love NYC, although I have only been once it still holds a place in my heart. I think everyone is allowed a week off now and again, it’s good for the soul.
Thanks Leslie! Yes, I agree, self care is a must.
It would be great to see some Holiday ideas 😊
