It’s my last day at work until January 3, so I will be on holiday mode in a few short hours! I haveΒ some holiday plans for my time off.Β There isΒ Christmas and spending time with family, butΒ I want to check out some stuff around the city.
There will also be boring plans likeΒ working out, sleeping in, not showering till noon occasionally and working on some blog projects. Curtis’s birthday falls on December 27, so we will also have that to celebrate. Keep up to date with what I’m doing by following me on Instagram!
There will be a recap of my Christmas nextΒ week along with a cocktail recipe so be sure to stop by! I’m thinking a champagne based cocktail recipe and maybeΒ a second one with a wintery cedar syrup… Intrigued?
1. Take a quick day trip.
2. Catch up on movies and TV showsΒ (The O.A.!)
3. Experiment with some new recipes from the many cookbooks I own.
4. MakeΒ holiday treats or homemade marshmallows.
5. Edit my closet and donate anything I no longer wear.
6. Go to the latest exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
7. Host a casual New Year’s Eve at home involving champagne, lasagna and sweats.
8. See theΒ a couple of movies in the theatre, followed by sushi orΒ ramen.
9. Read.
10. Plan myΒ wedding and blog editorial calendar.
11. Organize my email inbox(es).
12.Β Visit the Enchant Maze.
13. CocktailsΒ in a hotel bar, during the day.
14. Long walks with hot cocoa in hand.
What are your plans? Anyone off on a trip? I’ll have a couple of posts next week, mostly recipes andΒ a Christmas recap.Β Don’t forget to come check the blog! And I’ll have a Friday Roundup as usual tomorrow, there will be a few fun links to read on your timeΒ off.
Sounds like you have a great vacation planned! My husband is off next week and we’re going to take the kids to a movie, hopefully play in the snow a couple times, and maybe paint some pottery! Happy holidays!
That all sounds like fun! Happy new year!
