Friday Roundup

We are off to Seattle this weekend! Curtis and I are taking a rally course at DirtFish this Sunday (a pretty awesome birthday gift!). I used to race go-karts for years in my teens from BC to California and have a deep passion for motorsports. This is my fix and I am really bloody excited! We intend to drive down early Saturday and spend the first part of the day in Ballard, make our way to Capitol Hill and then to our room at the Hotel Monaco. I intend to relax in that gorgeous hotel room and get a good night’s sleep! If anyone has any suggestions on what to do or eat while there, greatly appreciate it!

Other than that, I look forward to our vacation in Palm Springs starting next Friday. When we land, it will be 47C, I think I will fly down in my underwear, but am still thrilled to relax at the pool. Palm Springs is one of my favourite places to visit, my family has a couple of homes down there and we are able to vacation for next to nothing. The city is relaxing and laid back, more and more trendy restaurants and hotels are opening up for the hip LA residents. Shopping is fantastic and the weather is always nice. Check out my guides from last year here. I will probably update these on my return too, but again, anything I’ve missed or should check out while there?
