Woohoo, it’s October! I’m embracing that fall is now here, and that today is October’s first Friday Roundup. It’s Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend, so Monday is a holiday! We have no real exciting plans this weekend, I want to just curl up on the couch in my PJs, watch movies and work on the blog. Food is also in our plans, dinner at my nonna’s on Sunday, hitting up cafes downtown and popcorn!
We also want to catch a couple of films at VIFF, there are so many fantastic films in the festival this year. Last weekend we watched the film Other People, documentaries Class Divide & Amanda Knox, Netflix series Easy and Dr. Foster. I also watch the cheesiest film, London Has Fallen last night haha.
Did anyone else watch Westworld on HBO? Thoughts? I’m intrigued on how it will play out and the back story of this world.
We also still have Oscar till my parents are back next week. He and Piper and now best friends, he’s a cuddle monster and has a funny personality. But he’ll be happy to be back in his routine and with my parents next week. Piper will probably be happy to be the only dog in the house haha.
Now I’m off to count down the hours today till I’m off! First stop, a good cup of Chai tea to relax. What are your plans this weekend? Anyone jetting off somewhere? Traveling to see family?
1. 20 ways to use up a jar of Nutella (The Kitchn)
2. James Corden and Usain Bolt, that’s all.
3. How to apply every type of lip makeup (Refinery 29)
4. 10 restaurants in North Korea, fascinating (Messy Nessy Chic)
5. Hack to restore wet pages in your book (Bored Panda)
6. Interesting read on prison cosmetology (Good)
7. A memorial to an octopus attack (This is Colossal)
8. I want to make this crystal backpack! (DIYS)
I love your pics. Your dog is great. Happy Weekend.

I’m sorry, but I actually laughed out loud when I saw your link for using up Nutella. My first thought was “Who has that problem?” Those steamer trunks are amazing! I want one!
Haha! I know right? Not my house.
We have a long weekend here as well. Love that luggage, glad the fur babies are getting along and enjoy your weekend.
Thanks Candy, hope you had a nice weekend!
