Friday Roundup: October 21

This week was a long one for me, I wasn’t feeling great all week and yesterday just hit me hard. When you don’t feel great, the week goes by so lonnnnnng. But, I do look forward to writing up my Friday Roundup posts and sharing links with you guys. I love seeing all the Halloween related posts this month and still need to come up with a costume for work. Any suggestions? I was also lucky this week to be invited to taste McDonald’s new coffee beans and pastries. So delish!

This weekend I plan on catching up on some work, watching movies, working out and just relax. We have watched lately Amy, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, Blue Jay, Independence Day Resurgence, Ghostbusters and the US Debate haha. Has anyone else watched any or all of these? I really like Blue Jay, the story was real and loved that it was filmed in black and white. The others were good, Amy was just sad to see her downfall. It also made me feel really old remembering when she first hit the scene.

I’ve also just received my Beautycounter products and will share that with you soon. Feel free to check out their site here. I love that they use natural ingredients and are fast becoming popular in North America. They also just launched in Target this month! They believe in safer skin care and less harmful ingredients. The European Union bans over 1,400 ingredients from its personal care products. Canada has banned less than half that amount. Crazy right!? If you have any questions, feel free to give me a shout!

A little later than I hoped, but better than never! New restaurants, places to stay and I’ll be sharing my first Vlog on San Diego to follow.
