Friday Roundup: November 4

Friday Roundup: November 4

Friday Roundup: November 4
Well it’s that time of year again, where the countdown to Christmas begins, winter is around the corner and we have to turn our clocks back an hour this Sunday. I’m not ready for 2017. Writing this week’s Friday Roundup and seeing that it’s November, I’m sad that 2016 flew by!

This last week felt like it took forever again, maybe the weather? It’s pretty gloomy here, I think we’ve had 29 out of 31 days of rain. Depressing right? When I wake up in the morning, I just want to stay under the covers. One day I want to be able to freelance full time and be able to make those decisions on whether I can afford another 20 minutes in bed haha.

I also received this week a ton of blogger mail, my rice cooker I ordered (meal prep will be so much easier!) and new cookbooks that I can’t wait to dive into!

This week I also finished Season 3 of The Fall. So good! I had a sandwich delivered to work for National Sandwich Day from Dempster’s! We had a baby shower for three people at work so that meant cake and cute babies. My nana sent home with us homemade meringues, those are sitting in my fridge for tonight haha.

This weekend we have no plans. Well we do and Curtis doesn’t know yet that he is getting roped into a few projects. I have a few holiday themed DIY, some recipes, working on my holiday gift guides and more! Phew! I have a few movies and the new Netflix series The Crown to watch! OMG that looks so good!

I’ve also got to start wedding planning. I’ve booked pretty much all my vendors, but I’ve got to work on our invites, get décor ideas to my planner and look into other minimal stuff. Less than six months to go! And I want to see a movie this weekend, any recommendations?

What are your plans? Don’t forget to turn back the clock an hour if you’re in North America! Anyone else craving cider and brownies? I know they are two weird combos, but I keep seeing them everywhere… Definitely going to have one or the other this weekend.
