Friday Roundup: May 29

Friday Roundup May 29 | Uppababy Vista

Hello friends! Wow, May flew by and I haven’t had time to properly blog, there were a few leaps and growth spurts in our home, so I tended to Rowan’s needs. Plus we’ve been busy puttering around the house and going out for long walks and trying to survive each day haha.

Some days are great, some days I don’t shower until 4 PM and that’s my big accomplishment that day. So I apologize for not being on top of my blog posts, but I do have a two-month-old at home, I think that’s a good excuse πŸ˜‰

For the most part, we’ve been cooking and grilling a lot of our meals at home. Also enjoying a cocktail here and there of course!

My family finally got to meet Rowan, they lifted the restrictions on how many people you can visit in BC from household to 2 to 6 outside of it. So my parents and siblings have been by to meet her! Even Oscar, who is unsure of her still, he’s just so happy to see his bestie Curtis though. Look at that smile below!

Today Rowan is getting her two-month immunizations, so keep us in your thoughts. I hear it’s a tough one, they will just scream, so I’m bringing extra breast milk with us and expect to be cuddling all day. We also are picking up a huge meat order at Two Rivers Meats and having Nora’s Ice Cream being dropped off. Not a bad start to our weekend minus the shots.

Other than that, we have a bit of gardening, and when I say we, I mean Curtis has a bit of gardening to do on our patio. He’s planning on replanting a few of our planters and adding some more. I can’t wait to tidy it up, I’ve been looking for a budget-friendly sectional that would fit on our patio for the summer and some other bits to add some personality to the space.

What are your plans? Anyone planning on traveling or camping this summer? We are waiting to see how the summer goes, what the province does for travel within, and what cities are ok with people visiting. I’d love to go to the Okanagan for a few days and take Rowan to a lake.
