Holy cow where did May go? I feel like it just zipped right past us! Next week is June and the start of Summer! Patio season, naps at the beach, drinks with friends, swimming and summer vacations!
This past week was quick yet busy. I had three fun events I attended, all involving food and drinks! First was a pizza and painting party at the Rocky Mountain Flatbread in Kits. Yesterday, I went to a preview of The Keg’s new Cocktail Hour starting next week. Then it was onto the Chef Meets BC Grape at the convention centre. 350+ wines and 14 restaurants offering up delicious bites and wine pairings.
Speaking of events, you can sign up for a reflexology course in Vancouver June 10-12. After the course is complete you are certified! I’m obsessed with reflexology lately and if you are like me, this would be perfect. The foundations of this practice are based upon a defined map of reflexes and zones located on the face. Multireflexology is an integrated system of acupuncture, TCM, acupressure and reflexology. Fascinating right?
I have also been walking 10K+ steps per day at least, working towards losing weight and just being more active. With the weather so sunny and warm, it hasn’t been hard!
Curtis and I this weekend plan on painting out apartment, hanging some new pieces and relaxing. Probably hitting up the beach and biking around town with Piper as well.
