Friday Roundup: May 18
Happy long weekend my fellow Canadians! It’s our first one that kicks off summer season. I started writing this Friday Roundup early because I am anticipating a half day for myself.
It’s supposed to be sunny all weekend, so we have a few adventures planned. Spending a day in North Vancouver, partaking in patio hopping around and checking out a market. We might also do a hike, but then so will most of Vancouver haha and also start setting up our patio at home. Curtis washed it the other day and threw out dead plants (RIP my friends) and other junk. Starting fresh!
Otherwise it was an ok week, we went to a Whitecaps game! Haven’t been in a couple of years and enjoyed a margarita or two (the best).
Thursday night went to Faulhaber’s 1st year anniversary and previewed some new brands they rep. Plus got my makeup done by Barri King, Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup artist from LA.
Earlier in the week I literally just worked and ran errands. Deep cleaned our apartment because we were at my parents for two weeks. They got back on Sunday for Mother’s Day, Oscar was quite excited lol.
And last weekend we took Oscar to the dog beach, grabbed patio drinks and watched cruise ships leave up to Alaska. Curtis and I also took Oscar for a mini hike to Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver. He loved it! Was such a nice walk in the morning and then we stayed in at my parents because traffic was a nightmare in the city for some reason. We just ended up walking down to the Westin Bayshore and had a drink on the patio.
I was crazy busy editing videos, so don’t forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel! They’ll be uploaded quite shortly and plan on filming so much more soon! Plus a couple of travel vlogs and continuous beauty reviews etc.
