Friday Roundup: March 23

Hello friends! It’s been a couple of weeks since my last Friday Roundup. To say the least, it was a little busy around here. Busy with client work, a sickness in the family, events, meetings and life. So I’m back at it, I’ve been busy editing vlogs, taking new photos for posts and writing content for on here.

I’m really excited for my future content, bringing back a weekly cocktail recipe (cuz that’s something I love), occasional recipes, travel guides (so behind!), more personal stories and a couple of DIYs! It’s gonna be a busy couple of months on here. Finally getting my mojo back for creating exciting content and getting my daily schedule organized between client work and the blog.

What I’ve been up to the last couple of weeks have been a few media events and I took my mom to afternoon tea at Honey Salt. That was Ah-Mazing! We were in a serious food coma afterwards haha. I managed to take home so many little pastries because we couldn’t finish it all. There were crepes, a greek goddess dip with fresh veg, sandwiches, yorkshire puddings with fillings, cakes, pastries and more!

I also was invited to the Pandora Shine launch in Vancouver and was lucky enough to go home with a bracelet and charm! It’s their new striking new 18k gold-plated sterling silver line.

My friend David also launched his new Cocktail Tours in Vancouver. The first one was going around Yaletown to four places, trying a cocktail at each and little bites. So fun!

And my friend Vicki treated myself to a comedy show and we ate yummy Cuban food afterwards.

We also stayed overnight at the new Parq Vancouver at The Douglas Hotel. It was a nice staycation, we ate, drank and did a little gambling.

This week I went to a wine dinner for Liberado Wines at Espana. It was delish, there were two paellas so I was in heaven! PLUS churros!

I also went to La Roche-Posay’s latest Toleriane launch at a breakfast at the Market by Jean-Georges. We painted a watercolour at the end.

This weekend, I’m attending Vancouver Fashion Week, a brunch at H2 Restaurant, a Junos party hosted by Roots Canada at the Van Art Gallery and running errands.
