Boy, oh boy, it’s the end of July and I need to step up my summer game! This week I was busy and so hot I didn’t feel like blogging. I attended the Tacofino Media Event for their Yaletown location, had a couple of appointments after work, saw Mich for personal training and could have fell asleep every night at 8pm. Sorry about the lack of posts this week, we are going through a heat wave in Vancouver and well I guess summer got to me. I’m really glad to be finishing the week with another Friday Roundup.
This is a long weekend for BC Day on Monday. Our plans are to hang out on patios with drinks, go the beach, check out Bowen Island, attend a food blog event, enjoy our patio, see friends and really just relax! I’m looking forward to our Palm Springs trip later this month. I do want to fit in a weekend road trip to somewhere before, maybe just a day trip to Washington and the Chuckanut Hwy or maybe the Okanagan. We almost made it last weekend haha. If you follow me on Snapchat, you would have seen us getting lost to the Othello Tunnels! (I’ll be doing a post on them shortly!)
Last week, if you follow me on Twitter you’ll know, we watched Batman vs Superman, The Lobster and Stranger Things. Last two were great, the Batman movie was meh for me. Too long, I had too many questions, but I did love Wonder Woman.

I wish I had $100 mil to spend! I might not buy a house with it though. And coconut chai iced coffee is da bomb!
You finished all season of Stranger Things in a week? Oh man, I wish my binge watching skills were as solid as yours. My son did that too. He loved the show!
Bet the oreo pie gets a ton of hits. Thats where I’m going first.
