Friday Roundup: July 12

Happy Friday! It’s been over a month since the last Friday Roundup here on the blog. We went to Europe (Dublin and Italy) for a month, got back and caught up with client work, blog campaigns, I started a course, attended friend’s weddings, events, birthdays and selling our apartment. So, it has been BUSY around here.

I went to the opening party of the Indian Summer Festival, ate some good food, including delicious Syrian food, saw some blogging friends and had a great night.

Curtis and I went to our first Vancouver Canadians baseball game on Canada Day, I am working with them this summer and we plan on going to a few more! Can’t wait, it’s such a fun evening, there’s good food, local beers, sushi races (yes, you read that right LOL) and the tickets are so inexpensive. We go every year so to work with them is exciting!

Also went to a couple of other smaller events, foodie ones for the most part. And finally went to Bard on the Beach which is celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. Curtis and I saw The Taming of the Shrew, and really enjoyed our evening!

We also went to my friend Angela’s wedding on the long weekend. They got married in Whistler and it was a fun evening!

We’re excited for this weekend, besides that it’s finally Friday, what a long week! I’m seeing my friend Vicki, and Curtis and I are having a staycation at the Westin Bayshore! I’m hoping for sunny weather, so I can lay at the pool and maybe even bike around the seawall. Either way, we will be eating very well and relaxing!
