Here we are, one week into 2017 and our first Friday Roundup for the year! It’s freakin cold in Vancouver, lakes are frozen, sidewalks are sheets of ice and it keeps snowing. It’s a love/hate thing for me. I love getting cozy, wearing sweaters, drinking cocoa and having the fire on. I hate slipping on the ice, being cold, hibernating and dry skin. Anyone else feel the same?
This weekend is pretty low-key, I’m going for a facial at Glow Therapy. Love Amanda and her services! I’m so relaxed and I’ve noticed my skin looks great lately. Aside from those hormonal zits on my jawline, any tips?
Also, I’mΒ just getting some wedding stuff done this weekend. Details really and trying to book my hair/makeup people (glam squad!). Ordering our invites (I’ll be sharing those later on the blog) and getting my design inspo together for our floral designer. Stay tuned for more wedding posts, I’m going to share my journey leading up to April and afterwards.
I am excited for 2017 though! Besides my wedding, I have a few fun projects coming up here on the blog, travel later in the year (no destination yet for our honeymoon) and a skinnier, healthier me. You can see my resolutions for this year here, nothing drastic or materialistic, more of a better lifestyle.
What are you up to this weekend? Anyone else sick of this cold weather snap in Vancouver? I am excited for the Hot Chocolate Festival coming up!! There’s usually a few unique flavours that pop up and I love experimenting.
Enjoy the links below and have a great weekend π Next weekend I’m sharing our trip to Tofino, a tropical smoothie recipe and more!

I’m literally doing nothing this weekend but staying inside and reading and blogging. It’s too icy here in Vancouver. I won’t say it’s too cold because I grew up near Toronto so -7 is nothing to me but the ice rink that is Vancouver is definitely something new for me! Hope you can stay warm this weekend!
