Summer has finally arrived in Vancouver this week. Sun, hot temperatures, line ups at the ice cream shoppes (oh wait, that’s all year round), beaches are packed and I’m loving it. I have a few fun links for this week’s Friday Roundup.
Last weekend, Curtis and I took a drive to Whistler and spent a day at Bowen Island. If you follow me on Snapchat or now Insta Stories, you could follow along with me. It was a nice weekend, we ate amazing food at both locations and enjoyed the weather and sights.
Then Monday, I had such a bad migraine (I blame the small ferry!), I attended the Grey Goose Boulangerie Bleue party Tuesday night in False Creek and took a At-home Japanese cooking class last night at Nourish with my parents and sister. It’s been a fun (and not so fun) week!
I plan on having a fun few days in the sun this weekend. I want to lay at the beach, enjoy iced coffees at our favourite coffee shops and bike around the city. My friend is also celebrating her baby’s first birthday, I’m looking forward to that.
And I went to Bob Likes Thai food blogger dinner a couple weeks ago. Here is a picture of my favourite dish that night! Golden Pompano Fish with Ka-Chai, so freakin’ flavourful!
We are also going to start packing for our week in Palm Springs and San Diego. I’m really excited to get away and relax. I have a busy few days next week before we go, a couple of events, personal training sessions, last minute errands and blogging stuff. You’ll want to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat to see the events and what I’m up to this weekend!

I’d love to visit Whistler some day. You’ve been having the best time with all your adventures.
Thanks Liz, it’s been a great summer. You should put Whistler on your list to visit!
Your photos are seriously gorgeous! It has been ridiculously hot here in Toronto, it’s impossible to do anything, I can imagine being by the water would be lovely!
La Belle Sirene
Ugh, I’ve been to Toronto in the summer, too humid for me!
Your photos are beautiful. Ice cream, beach, good food, family and friends. Sounds perfect to me.
Thanks Candy!
