Friday Roundup: August 10

Happy Friday everyone! We’re entering another sunny weekend here in Vancouver and I’m excited! I’ve had a busy week workwise and looking forward to a couple of days off.

Tonight I’m going to a fashion show with Jonathan, I’m his plus 1 🙂 Tomorrow we are spending time with family and in the evening there’s a dinner in memorial for Curtis’s dad in lieu of a traditional funeral.

Sunday, we are planning on going to the Abbotsford Air Show, Curtis has never been and I haven’t been since I was a kid. We’ve been getting fly by’s all week in the city and excited to go and venture out that way for an afternoon.

Other than that, life’s been ok. On the long weekend we caught up with friends, went to IKEA and picked up some new pots for our plants etc., and had a lazy walk up Main Street and just were lazy haha.

Last Friday though, we went to Cactus Club in English Bay (what a view!) and enjoyed their new off-menu Texas sized Moscow Mule with my sister and bf. We also enjoyed a few appies and took in the sunset down there. Was a fun evening and if you are in a group of people, def order the drink! It’s huge and refreshing 🙂
