Well here we are again, end of another work week. Currently it’s cloudy outside and feels like fall. There is also horrible news from Nice, France. I’m waiting for that day when there isn’t news about some tragedy in some part of the world. Just seems my news feed is flooded with terrorist attacks, girls being abducted and then found dead, suicide bombings, murders, you name it, it’s probably been reported today. So least to say, I was looking forward to rounding up some light hearted Friday Roundup links today.
This weekend is busy! My sister’s friend is hosting a birthday party for her tonight. Tomorrow I’m getting my hair cut and roots touched up, then a photo shoot for a post, and to finish off my Saturday a NYX Cosmetics event! Sunday, I want to sleep in a bit, but then want to drive somewhere, maybe Othello tunnels? I also have a ton of blog stuff to finish, my Euro travel guides, catch up with blog comments, a lot of you leave such great ones I feel horrible for yet respondingΒ (sorry guys! some days I’m exhausted it’s the last thing I remember to do), DIY posts, recipes for the upcoming weeks, just the list can go on.
Piper also hurt his leg this week, so he’s been struggling on three legs the past couple of days. I hope it gets better and we can avoid the vet and that huge bill. I just wish he would understand us when we say to just relax and not get up. Nope, so what does he do? The complete opposite! Sigh, I wish dogs would listen haha.
There is also an upcoming giveaway on the blog! I’m pretty excited for this, and details will follow soon!
And if anyone has any recommendations on long weekend trips around BC or Washington, please share! I’m struggling to find accommodations this summer.
