I missed Friday Roundup last week because it was Canada Day. To me, that was a day off. So I will be catching up this week with my links. It’s supposed to be a crappy weekend here in Vancouver, the past couple of days felt like fall. I want the sunshine to come back fast!
Last weekend we went to a wedding, fixed up our patio, hung out at the beach, binged watch Marcella on Netflix, enjoyed drinks on patios, ate delicious sandwiches at The Tuck Shoppe and stumbled upon a local swing dance club in Kitsilano.
How was your long weekend? I am itching to go away somewhere this month and every time I look up anything, I find out that it’s all booked up. Really frustrating! We did finally book a week to Palm Springs in August! It will consist of wedding errands and maybe a day trip to LA. I’m pretty excited to spend time at the pool and drink cocktails with umbrellas lol.
What are your plans this weekend? I have two events to attend, olive oil tasting and ice cream tasting. Pretty good right? There is also the Khatsahlano Street Festival outside our house all day Saturday. Each year it gets better and bigger!
1. A Lisa Frank colouring book!
2. The oil-pumping history of California (Messy Nessy Chic)
3. Take me back to Lisbon! (Afar)
4. The best sunscreen of 2016 out of 135 contenders (Reviews)
5. 15 cities before and after pictures. Pretty incredible change! (Bored Panda)
6. I want to make this chocolate almond milk badly! (The Kitchy Kitchn)
7. These fake facades are incredible! He’s the French Banksy (Messy Nessy Chic)
8. These black raspberry pie milkshakes have my name all over them! (How Sweet It Is)
1. My Summer To-Do List of 2016
2. Char-grilled Tomato Bruschetta
3. Weekend Getaway Packing Tips
That chocolate almond milk is genius. It is now on my ‘Weekend Experiments’ list! 🙂 And that blackberry pie smoothie is so decadent I don’t even know how Jessica piled all that up!
Black. Raspberry Pie. Milkshakes.
Oh, yes! This!
Beautiful post
We just returned from a get away. Before and after of 15 cities I enjoyed.
Oil tasting and ice cream tasting sounds amazing.:) Have fun!
