Friday Roundup

Happy April Fool’s Day! I cannot believe it’s April 1st already, it felt like yesterday that it was January. I look forward to my Friday Roundup each week, sharing links with you and hearing what you will get up to on the weekend. This weekend I’m trying to get ahead on the blog, I want to visit a couple of new coffee shops around the city and enjoy the sunshine! We have had the most amazing week in terms of weather. Keep it up Mother Nature!

Yesterday I was lucky to attend Faubourg‘s macaron soiree. They donated all proceeds from Macaron Day On March 20 to the BC Cancer Foundation. 10,000 were sold at $1 each and then they matched that amount and ended up donating $20,000 for one day! Wow! It was nice finally meeting other bloggers in person that I’m friends with on Instagram. So funny that you end up chatting with people online never having met each other. I love the internet!

It was also my last day at my current employment after a few years. Sad to say goodbye, but I’m onto new opportunities. I feel that 2016 could be my year!
