My Dior Skincare Favourites + Beauty Mega Event

At the end of May, I was invited to attend an event for Dior at Shoppers Drug Mart (the Kensington Square Plaza location 6508 East Hastings Street, Burnaby BC) to learn about Dior skincare and beauty. I was beyond excited to learn more about this luxury brand and to experience a facial and makeover. As a result, I’m sharing what have become my Dior skincare favourites. The all-day event kicked off with a super relaxing in-store facial using all Dior skincare products. If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have seen my Instagram stories. Following the Dior facial, my skin glowed for a couple of days. I also received a makeup makeover and couldn’t take enough selfies afterwards to capture how great my skin looked!

This was also the week I chopped my hair off, so least to say I was feeling fantastic after my Dior makeover. And since the event, I’ve been using all the products plus keep wearing my lipstick shade seen in the photos non-stop here and here.

But today, is all about my Dior skincare favourites that I love using on the daily. Now, first off, yes I know their products are more on the expensive side. And I am a big believer in using products that are quality over price point and to share products of all price points.

So this is more a luxury shoutout, but if you are a customer at Shoppers Drug Mart, you then know you can use your points towards purchasing their products. This is literally why I save up my points haha. I just go and use them in the Beauty Boutique at my local Shoppers (not an ad, just my tip!). My face loves the luxury products, but my wallet does not.

My Dior Skincare Favourites

1. Dior Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Creme

The Dior Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Creme has become a staple in my AM skincare routine. It’s a lightweight moisturize that is cooling, refreshing and just makes my skin feel awake.

A little goes a long way with this cream, definitely, it will last you for ages and it is also the cheapest Dior moisturiser you can get. The product leaves a beautiful health glow to the skin and I have to say it kind of evens out my skin tone.

2. Dior One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum

I apply the One Essential Skin Boosting Super Serum in my PM skincare routine. It’s a preserum meant to improve the absorption of any other products you put on your face. It also works to detoxify or purge any toxins in your skin left from other products. It’s definately a boost to your skincare routine when you add this product.

3. Dior Hydra Life Micellar Milk – No Rinse Cleanser

Absolutely blown away by this product. It removed a full face of foundation + my waterproof mascara and left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. The price point is higher than most micellar waters, but it is well worth it.

4. Dior One Essential Eye Serum

Enriched with Red Hibiscus from the Dior Gardens, it eliminates 100% toxins identified deep within the skin and intensely revitalizes it. All you need is one pump for both eyes and still have a bit left over.

5. Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced

LOVE this product. It immediately brightens up my skin and gives me a very even skin tone. I normally have a little redness in my cheeks and on my nose and this subtly cover it without looking too much like make up or a cover up. Gives a very natural, glowy look.

6. Dior Gentle Toning Lotion

The Gentle Toning Lotion with Velvet Peony Extract has an amazing floral scent, great ingredients (velvet peony extract, hyaluronic acid and glycerin are the top 3) and it is of course alcohol free. It feels so moisturising on the skin and has the softening effect of a face cream.

The rest of my skin care layers on top of it like a dream and it has been keeping my skin healthy and glowing day after day.

7. Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Creme Rich Texture

Because it is a rich cream, I wear this moisturizer overnight and it does incredible things for my combination skin. It really helps dull skin and gives me a glow every morning. Also great for sensitive skin. And a little goes a long, long way.

Bonus Product (Not a Dior Skincare Favourite)

Dior Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming Perfume

If you like romantic floral perfumes, then you’ll seriously love this scent. The Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming perfume is a unique mix of peony, musk, and grapefruit. This is a lighter and more sweet scent then the original. I like this one for summer because of its sweetness and how it doesn’t smell so strong. Softer then the original (which I also own) and bottle design is very simple and sosphicated.
