Cool Summer Nights Style Wish List

With summer winding down, the nights become cooler and you need the perfect jacket to wear. I love that period in August when September approaches and the summer breeze starts. The fact that I can still wear my summer dress and a cool jacket. I wanted to put together a quick cool summer nights style wishlist with accessories included. If you could only see my accessories collection, I could open up shop. Ask Curtis, he will tell you!

One of my favourite summer looks is pairing either a trench or a bomber with a floral dress. You will or have seen this look many times I’m sure in the past few months online (ahem Pinterest!) or on the street. It’s flirty, easy to throw on and can easily be transitioned.

Andrew Marc has many great options for jackets or coats, but I ended up picking these two above. They look so great with the floral silk dress by Elizabeth and James. I wanted casual shoes to wear, especially with the unisex bomber and went with the classic Converse. But then the Givenchy bangle caught my eye and why not add a touch of glamour to the outfit. And apparently dollar bills! Boy, I’m glad this is just a wish list and it’s all hypothetical haha. All fantastic choices I must say, but I’m pretty sure there are many inexpensive alternatives especially in terms of that bangle 🙂

If you have a dress or top with a V-neck you want to draw attention to it with a simple, pretty necklace. I love a local Vancouver designer Leah Alexandra, I have a couple of her pieces and they are so classic and feminine.

Also, with it being only August, you need a cool pair of shades! Bailey Nelson has many great options for affordable prices. I just went to Nordstrom’s and tried on a few but all above $500. So these are not as much of an investment and look amazing.

And lastly, there are too many options out there for a bag, but this Rebecca Minkoff piece really was the perfect summer and fall mix. It can easily be worn in both seasons, casual and dressy and such a lovely colour.
