I love nothing better than a classic champagne cocktail. It’s just such a simple, classy drink you can have on any occasion. It’s festive, it’s a way to kick off a weekend, accompany a yummy brunch or toast a celebration! You can see all my cocktail recipes here, for all seasons and occasions.
You of course don’t have to use champagne in a champagne cocktail. To make it a more affordable option, use prosecco, affordable champagne, cava or any other dry sparkler. I for one, do not have a vintage champagne just lying around my home. Prosecco or cavaΒ is generally my go to in the sparkling beverage aisle.
You literally just need champagne (or other sparkly choice), a sugar cube and bitters. That’s it! 3 ingredients plus lemon peel for garnish. I wasn’t lying when I said a simple drink to make.

Can’t have it today as it’s national beer day, but putting this in the “party ideas” folders for the summer! Sounds so good!
This sounds and looks delicious. I’m pregnant right now so I can’t try it but I wish I could. I’ll definitely save this for later though.
Oooh looks like a great mix together. I actually love the taste of inexpensive champagne, so I’m golden with this mix! Hee hee.
It’s not at all difficult to do. I love that it’s refreshing and perfect for the Spring weather. I’m sure this is going to be a hit if you’re ever hosting a party.
I love ordering craft or customized cocktails at restaurants, but rarely make them at home. Lately, though I’ve been trying to come up with my own concoctions at home and this recipes sounds like a fun one to try.
