Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Review

I needed a deep conditioner that hydrates but doesn’t weigh my hair down. I wanted something that tamed frizz and flyaways. This was a duo I heard mentioned a few times before trying out. Every review I read (and the instructions on the box, for that matter) made it clear that this was a product you had to use multiple times before seeing results, which I found extremely true.

To be honest, I wasn’t mesmerized after the first time I used it (it wasn’t bad, just not game-changing), but after a handful of uses, I noticed my hair felt smoother, and was air drying beautifully, instead of turning from wet into a frizzy nightmare.

why I love it: The shampoo smells amazing for ONE and for another my hair has never been so smooth and silky without being weighed down. I like the lather it gives, not being too much. It has helped my hair come back from the dead. Put it on your list of to tries, especially with the mask/conditioner which I leave on for about 15 mins in a hot shower (which I turned down to rinse-cool lukewarm). I enjoy using this mask and it definitely leaves my hair visibly more hydrated and shiny after I use it.

I’ve been using the Briogeo mask twice a week for about a month now; after shampooing, I run about a teaspoon amount (enough for anyone with medium-length hair) through my hair and let it sit for ten minutes. And my hair has never been so low maintenance — texture sprays, oils, and leave-in conditioners have become basically superfluous.
