This past weekend I celebrated my 31st birthday. The last few years have flown by and this year will go by quick I’m sure. With a wedding to plan, a new job, growing A Life Well Consumed, making new friends and enjoying another (hopefully) great Vancouver summer. This is a birthday weekend recap in mostly photos from my phone. Look at those sparkly shoes! I did end up buying my wedding shoes too this weekend! Tabitha Simmons at Holt Renfrew.
It was an amazing weekend here in Vancouver, sunny skies, warm temperatures, it was perfect. I enjoyed going to the beach, shopping and lunching with my mom and sister, going out for dinner with friends and family at Juniper and The Emerald and eating cake on Sunday. We celebrated Mother’s Day at my mom’s with my grandma’s and then also had cake all together for my birthday. My mom made a delicious spring onion soup, crostinis, crab cannelloni and we had a raspberry cream cake. Yum!
I look forward to the next year, I hope my wedding planning goes smoothly (I really need to get on it haha), we have a great summer here in Vancouver, that my new blogging friends I’ve recently met turn into long term friendships and that I lose weight. Ya ya not that important, but it is to me. I also look forward to growing the blog, working with brands and other bloggers and having great engagement with you my followers!
Enjoy some photos below, it’s a quick birthday weekend recap! Also don’t forget to follow me on Snapchat (alifewellconsum) I did share my whole weekend, including the shopping on it. So don’t miss out again 🙂 Some of these photos are on Instagram, follow me on there too!
For the record, I did not buy the leather visor with the denim scarf to go with it. I would have loved to see who would buy that though. If only I could have waited all day to see that person… Why are these in stores? Are the 90s back?
Love the photos you’ve taken, the Jimmy Choo shoes look gorgeous!
You sure know how to celebrate a birthday in a big way. I need to step up what I do for my own. Happy Birthday!
i figure it’s my day, why not!
