Act of Union

Act of Union is a tart, refreshing cocktail that combines rum and a blended Scotch. It’s really easy to make and looks like you put in more effort that you have. That is because of the egg white foam, it instantly dresses up any cocktail!
This would be a perfect cocktail to christen your new bar cart and essentials from Chairish.

Act of Union is simple to make and delicious, it’s definitely one of my go-to cocktails. The ingredients are ones that you should keep in stock, they can be used in a multitude of recipes.

Act of Union Cocktail

Makes 1

Ingredients
1 oz. blended Scotch
1 oz. Jamaican Rum
3/4 oz. Ginger syrup
3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 large egg white
Ice
Angostura bitters for garnish

Instructions
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the scotch, rum, ginger syrup, lemon juice and egg white.
2. Shake like crazy.
3. Fill the shaker with ice and shake again.
4. Strain into a chilled rocks glass and dot with bitters.
5. Enjoy and prepare to make another!
