With summer fast approaching, now is the time to get some items off your Spring must do list. Take time each weekend to check something off the list below or book a quick getaway somewhere before summer. Try one of my 8 things to do while it’s still Spring season below.
What’s on your Spring list? Have you managed to check anything off?
1. Plan a weekend trip: Pick a place you’ve always wanted to visit, grab your friends and hit the road. There are plenty of long weekends in the summer, but why not beat the crowds and go this Spring.
2. Learn a new recipe: You can learn how to make your favourite dish,or learn the recipe of something you’ve always wanted to try like sushi or your favourite restaurant dish. Just try something new and have fun while doing it. Try my latest cocktail recipe, Orange Mint Julep or my Cucumber Scallion Salad.
3. Improve your photography skills: Get your camera out and go shoot outside. Find tutorials on how to use your camera and try a few techniques. You’ll have amazing summer photos to look back on.
4. Clean your closet: Donate anything you haven’t worn in a year or that doesn’t fit you. It is after all the season for Spring cleaning.
5. Learn to DIY: Learn how to do something yourself. Try a new DIY patio project or make your own tote bag for summer. Pinterest is full of these projects.
6. Go to the local farmer’s market: Spring is the season where the farmer’s markets are bursting with fresh produce! Find your local market, go with an empty stomach and sample local foods and grab a bite from a food truck. It’s a great way to spend a morning or afternoon.
7. Start exercising: Now that the weather is getting warmer, it’s is the perfect time to start. Let’s be honest, weall want the perfect beach body for Summer, right?
8. Have a picnic with your friends: Pack up yummy picnic dishes, grab a blanket and a portable music player and head to the park. Check out my five fresh places to picnic on Luvo’s Fresh Blog.
9. Go on a bike ride: Grab your bike and explore your city this way instead of by car or transit. It’s a nice evening activity and the bonus is you are also exercising.
10. Host a game night: Invite your friends over and have fun playing board games all night. Don’t forget awesome snacks! There are so many great games out there now to play as a group or bring out the classics like charades or Scrabble.
Yes! Try a new recipe!! I have been wanting to start getting into making cocktails myself – aside from tasting good – they end up looking so pretty a la the pictures you find on Pinterest ♡ dynamicbohemian.com
you should! it also saves money 🙂
I am planning a view trips. I also want to exercise, but we will see if that happens.
Your list is a great reminder of all the things I want to get back into while the weather is so beautiful! I have so much more motivation in the spring -with everything feeling new and fresh. Good post!

Thanks Rachel!
Well, I’ve started exercising more! Cleaning the closet is always on the list-no matter what the season 🙂
Such a fun list. I’m dealing with major burnout but would love to do a game night. Friends, booze and games, so much fun!
