A ritual I do twice a week is use a face mask. To me, it’s a little luxury. I either take a bath with one on or paint my nails at the same time. I believe in multitasking! Face masks help keep my skin in check, either detoxing, moisturizing, deep-cleansing or anti-aging. I wanted to share six life-changing face masks that help a few skin problems.
I use the Kiehl’s, Origins and The Face Shop masks but have the Caudelie on my wishlist.
Using a face mask at home is a cheap alternative to the spa. Yes going for a facial on a regular basis is good for your skin, but can add up. It’s one of the best ways to target fine lines, dry skin, rosacea, oily skin and blemished skin. Face masks give your skin a boost of whatever youβre looking for. Masks canΒ moisturize, detoxify, increase circulation and replenish nutrients. Above all, they add an extra dimension to your skin-care routine. I feel pampered after using mine, it’s a nice way to end a busy day.
A DIY mask is also great and can be easy to make. I have a favourite one that I will share in the future. I use it in the summer time. Before applying a mask, steam your face. This allows your pores to open up making it easier to deep clean. And don’t forget your neck! It could also enjoy the mask.
