Today I’m sharing five hair products that I’ve been loving this year. From a couple of styling products to shampoo and conditioners. I do get to test quite a few brands over the years, and these are some of the few that standout to me this year.
I have fine and slightly wavy hair, that automatically frizzes whenever I step outside. I’m always on the lookout for products to give me volume, plus smooth out the frizz. But I also like a good texture and fragrance. So there is a chance some of these particular products may not work for your hair type but I think almost all of them will work for 99% of people.
You can also check out my other post the hair products your stylist swears by.
Ok, you might think this one is weird. But the Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse by dpHUE cleanses your scalp and conditions your hair using the power of apple cider vinegar. It’s supposed to gently removes impurities from your hair and scalp, without stripping the natural oils essential to your hair’s health. ACV rinse is infused with lavender extract, aloe vera, and argan oil. It also has color locking technology and proteins that triple the strength of each strand.
I use this product religiously, it has become a game changer in my routine. Make my hair feel so soft and feels great on my scalp! Zero build up and doesn’t leave your hair smelling like vinegar. I use it once a week just to break down buildup, I don’t use shampoo and then do a hair mask. Let’s just say I can’t stop touching my hair afterwards haha.
I’ve tried some beachy sprays in the past to get some nice natural waves, but they’ve all left my hair feeling gross and crunchy. I’d have to wash it out every night, definitely could not go a day without. This one definitely feels different. It doesnt have that weird crunchy texture and smells really good. I think I’ve found my new beach fave! There’s also Coconut and Sunflower Seed Oils combine with Bee’s Wax for nourishing hydration and shine. That’s why there’s no crunch.
I got a sample of this leave-in and I was amazed at how great my hair looked after using it so I immediately bought the full size. It is lightweight and very moisturizing. This product makes my hair look healthy, moisturized, shiny and tames my frizz. AND it has natural ingredients! So happy that I got it.
It’s fortified with a unique blend of rosehip, argan, and coconut oils, this milky and 96 percent naturally-derived complex effectively restores moisture levels and softness. AND the spray is free of gluten, silicones, DEA, and artificial dyes. It is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, and safe for color-treated, karatin-treated, and relaxed hair.
This year, LaCoupe introduced something new: four silicone-free Naturals Collections, including the LaCoupe Moroccan Rose range that I’ve been using for the past three months.
The shampoo and conditioner also is quite nice. I like how it comes in a pump bottle so you aren’t wasting product. The smell is also divine.
The Naturals Collection isn’t just silicone-free, either. It’s “sulfate-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, propylene glycol free and petroleum-free,” and all of the products in the range are just $9.99 CAD!!
I love it when drugstore brands come out with natural products, because it makes being picky about the ingredients that you put on your body more accessible. It’s not that I don’t believe in paying more for innovative products; it’s that I think that’s a choice that everyone should be able to make – no matter their budget.
I have thin hair and am always looking for something to add volume. This shampoo is amazing! I do not use it every day because it can weigh your hair down, but the days that I really want my hair to look good this does the job! The secret to this product is the Marine Plumping Complex, which contains omega-3 and Seasilk® to strengthen and restore hair’s natural thickness and reduce breakage. Color Hold®, a proprietary technology, locks in hair color brightness.
This is the best shampoo I’ve used in a long time. My hair is so fine and it’s hard to do anything with. This gives texture and volume and gives my hair life. Smells amazing. Very concentrated and lasts a while.
This line is also free of synthetic color, DEA/TEA, and petrochemicals, and is suited for color-treated hair.
What products are your holy grails? I’m always on the lookout for new products so I’d love to know what are some of your favorites?! Share below!!
