It happens every year: A crisp breeze floats in as if by mistake; you’re holding onto summer by your flip flops but, suddenly, you’re longing for a blazer and a London Fog tea latte. Or at least I am… Iβm also reminded I do have great hair, reminding myself that my head doesnβt home a frizzy mess and I can ease off on the shaving of the legs. This is also Curtisβs least favourite part of fall haha.
Each fall season, I start to crave cozying up on the couch and watching movies that scream fall. Here are my favourite movies that have great scenes of fall in them. Turning leaves, the appearance of tweed and herringbone, hats and scarves and the instinctual thrill of a cool nip in the air all suggest a seasonal tide turning.
Iβve listed the movies that capture fall in all its gloryβsweaters, apple cider, turkey, leaves, the works. Without further ado, Iβm sharing my 10 quintessential fall themed movies. If these donβt make you want to curl up in your favourite snuggly sweater and pants, sip hot chocolate, eat a ton of soups and watch these movies that most likely take place in a college or New York City.
