I always have my toe nails polished, the colour changed every two weeks. My manicure is a different story (more like lack of manicure). I do enjoy having them done just time is not on my side lately. You wouldn’t think so with the amount of nail polishes in our bathroom cabinet (Curtis’s pet peeve), a full shelf just lined with colours. My usual go to nail polishes are in colours of corals, purples, turquoises and nudes. I tend to pick the brightest and most vibrant colours on the shelf, skipping the red polishes.
When browsing the latest nail colours recently, I considered that the fall 2015 season is fast approaching. I decided to put together a few nail polishes that can be worn as we transition into the cooler months. I do admit though to wearing the tropical colours on my toes during the winter. It’s been a habit since a teen, I adore the pop of colour with all the neutrals of winter. They remind me of the nicer months full of sunshine and beach trips.
Below are the nail polish colours I’ve compiled, including the Julep one that Amy Schumer recently wore that caused a stir. The Smith and Cults brand is my new favourite (the packaging alone is amazing!) and Pacifica is an all vegan brand!
What are your favourite nail polish brands? Are there any colours that you tend to buy over and over? I’m all for if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it approach to most of my beauty and makeup products. But it’s too much fun trying out new products! Sephora, the drugstore and Ulta are a weakness, I could spend hours just looking at products. Thank goodness for the internet!

That smith and cult shade is to dye for…I’ve never heard of them before, thanks! Zoya is seriously an underrated line in my opinion. The brush and lasting power is top notch!
The Hard Candy founder runs Smith and Cults.
I agree!
