New Year’s Day is best spent brunching with family or friends. Sipping mimosas and eating delicious brunch will cure any hangover. My family usually gets together to have New Year’s Day brunch.
When I brunch, I want to eat dishes that I usually wouldn’t make on a day to day basis. Something indulgent, something that takes a more than five minutes to make and definitely needs to be decadent! Savoury, sweet or both are included in the ten recipes for New Year’s Day brunch I have listed.
1. Baked Chai French Toast (The Kitchn)
2. Avocado Toast (Lauren Kelp)
3. Silky Ass Quiche (A Cozy Kitchen)
4. Spaghetti Squash Fritters with Dill Yogurt Sauce (Snixy Kitchen)
5. Chilaquiles Rojos (House of Yumm)
6. Fried Eggs and Salsa Verde over Fried Smashed Potatoes (The Kitchy Kitchen)
7. Sweet and Savory Waffles Benedict Stacks (The Movement Menu)
8. Chia Parfait Apple Crunch (Green Kitchen Stories)
9. Ham and Cheese Breakfast Casserole (The Kitchn)
10. Overnight Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting (Lovely Little Kitchen)
